EIN Presswire Release: Ducoterra’s SolaRay Infrared Panels Heat Children’s Therapy Facility.

OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES, April 2, 2014  — Ducoterra, a leader in infrared heating, supplied a comprehensive heating solution for Jumping Mouse Children’s Center in their newly built mental health therapy facility, located in Port Townsend, Washington.

Jumping Mouse, a non-profit founded in 1999 to transform children’s lives by providing expressive mental health therapy, experienced soaring demand for their therapy services and responded by launching CARE, an expansion program to build a new therapy facility. Jumping Mouse, working with a limited budget, required a heating system that was not only inexpensive to install and operate, but also one that would maximize usable space in the new facility. Based on the recommendations of Ian Keith, a leading local contractor, Jumping Mouse worked with Ducoterra and Frederickson Electric of Port Townsend, to install ten SolaRay 750 watt infrared heating ceiling panels in the new facility. “We were pleased with the straightforward installation of Ducoterra’s panels and even more pleased with the excellent service we received,” said Hans Frederickson, President of Frederickson Electric.

The new SolaRay panels use 35% less energy than standard electric convective wall heaters, which will save Jumping Mouse over $400 a year in heating costs and $14,000 over the lifetime of the facility. “I recommended radiant ceiling panels to Jumping Mouse because of low installed cost, and the efficiency and comfort of the heat they provide,” said Ian Keith, “and I’m impressed with the Ducoterra panels.” Ducoterra’s infrared heating panels were installed safely and easily on the ceiling, radiating sun-like warmth and providing healthy and comfortable heating for the children and the therapists. This freed up valuable wall and floor space for their children’s needs. As an added benefit, the SolaRay panels are maintenance-free, whisper quiet, and promote dust, allergen, and bacteria-free air.

“We understand that non-profit organizations need to maximize every dollar and can’t afford a heating system with high maintenance costs,” said Patrick Beebe-Sweet, Ducoterra’s President and Founder. “With Ducoterra’s SolaRay panels, Jumping Mouse can be assured of significant heating cost savings, maintenance-free operations, and a healthier environment.”

Ducoterra is a nationwide leader in manufacturing infrared heating panels for both residential and commercial buildings.
